In 2017, Michael O’Sullivan, the CEO of Cambridge Assessment International Education, officially invited the Chilean British University of Culture to be its Associate Centre in Chile (CL125) with the purpose of administering its International Education program. The Centre began its activities with the incorporation of 4 schools in the city of Santiago in 2018 and already has 14 associated schools, both in Santiago and in the regions.
The partner organisation of this university and Centre, the Chilean British Institute, has more than 84 years’ experience in the field of teaching and learning English, as well as international examinations. It has carried out intense and fruitful work in the field of initial and in-service teacher training in our country. Additionally, it has a long and close relationship of more than 60 years with the University of Cambridge and has carried out its role as the Platinum Center for Cambridge Assessment English Exams in Chile with great success.
The Chilean British Institute of Culture will officially take over administration of Centre CL125 as from January 1st, 2022.
